## New
- **Velocity-9 (V9):** a craftable serum (Speed Reagent + Resonance Crystal + glowstone dust + lightning rod). Anyone with no power or the speedster power can drink it. A dose lasts 10 minutes, gives a top speed of 120 blocks per second and opens every speed setting at once. Yellow lightning, blue in the last 3 minutes (and it stays blue). Renew it by taking speed from another speedster or by drinking another dose, or you turn to dust. Someone with no power is a speedster only for the dose.
- **Zoom, a boss:** black suit, blue lightning, 1200 health. He blinks next to you, hits with a death touch and throws a vortex. Drops V9, dark matter, valuables and pieces of his suit. Spawn egg and /velocityverse zoom.
- **Zoom's suit** (mask, chestplate, leggings, boots): a custom speedster suit. Wearing all four gives black eyes while phasing.
- **Zoom's lair:** a rare structure (a mountain with a train hall inside, four chests and Zoom). Find it with /locate structure velocityverse:zoom_lair.
- **Lightning Throw** (second ability key, level 3): throws a real bolt of lightning that chains to nearby targets.
- **Heart pull:** phase and punch someone (level 10) to take out their heart. They die and you get a Heart item. Bosses lose 30% health instead.
- **Heart item:** eat it for absorption and regeneration.

## Changed
- The speedster punch lands every tick (hold the key) and hits much harder.
- Bosses and villains have far more health and hit softer, so fights last longer.
- No hunger while running in the Speed Force.
- The sound barrier breaks the moment you reach 90 blocks per second (not with V9 or Zoom's suit).
- All effects of the mod are now its own custom VFX (no vanilla particles): sparks, embers, smoke, rings, flashes and a real lightning bolt.
- Game rules cut from 125 to 26. The rest are in config/velocityverse-advanced.toml.
- /velocityverse build cryo removed (only the vault remains).

## Fixed
- Phasing could be used to fly by tapping jump.
- V9 speed no longer jumps between 120 and 139, and the blue lightning no longer stays after death.
- Streaks no longer fade in and out when seen from the front.
- Zoom's suit no longer makes you vibrate while running.
- Jumping while sprinting and phasing, then letting go of the move keys, no longer keeps you moving on your own: with no movement key held, you now stop quickly.

- Servers and clients must both have 1.3.0.
