Vein Miner + Tree Harvester

Mine whole ore veins and fell whole trees, vanilla and modded, the proper way. Fabric & NeoForge, 1.21 – 26.3.

One block, the whole vein

Are you tired of ore and lumber gathering mods that are not updated, or do not work the way you expect them to?

This is for you: two popular solutions in one place, Vein Miner and Lumberjack. You can easily configure them and turn each of them on or off.

⛏️ Vein Miner

Break one ore block and the whole vein comes with it, vanilla and modded ores:

every ore in the c:ores tag (that is almost every mod), the vanilla ore tags, and blocks named *_ore;
deepslate and stone variants of the same ore are mined together;
only with a pickaxe that can actually harvest that ore: a wooden pickaxe will not vein mine iron.

Cut one log and the whole tree falls, vanilla and modded trees, nether stems too:

only real trees: logs with natural leaves next to them, so your log cabin is safe;
never below the log you cut;
with any axe, modded ones included.

Every extra block is broken exactly as if you had mined it yourself:

your tool loses durability per block (Unbreaking counts), and stops before it would break;
Fortune, Silk Touch and every mod's own drops work on every block; experience, hunger and statistics count;
claim and protection mods are asked for every single block;
all the drops and experience land where you started.

One key (default `, change it in Controls) turns it off when you need to break a single block, and on again. Two more keys (unbound) switch only the Vein Miner or only the Lumberjack.
All settings in one screen: from the mod list (Mod Menu on Fabric, the Config button on NeoForge): turn the Vein Miner and the Lumberjack on or off separately, how many blocks at most, sneaking behaviour, tool protection, gathered drops, extra and excluded blocks.

Every version has a NeoForge jar and a Fabric jar (Quilt too). Fabric API and Mod Menu are optional.

Put the jar for your loader into mods/ on the server, or into mods for singleplayer.
It works on a server alone: players can join without it. With the mod on the client they also get the key and the settings screen.
