Vaultline
Vaultline is a storage, automation and logistics mod that lets you build connected storage networks across your Minecraft world.
Start with a Vaultline Core at your main base, expand your network using Relays, connect your storage, automate production, sort resources, and transport items between different branches of the same network.
Building a network
Every Vaultline network begins with a Core. The Core acts as the central point of the network and gives you access to its management features.
Vaultline uses one type of Relay block. Its role depends on how you connect it to the network.
A Relay connected directly to the Core becomes a Hub Relay and creates a new branch.
Additional Relays connected through a Hub become Extension Relays and extend that branch's coverage.
This allows you to expand from one main storage area into larger bases and remote outposts while keeping everything part of the same network.
Devices
Vaultline currently includes five network devices.
Receiver
Receivers attach to supported storage and let you control which items that storage accepts. They act as filtered destinations for Vaultline's sorting system.
Transmitter
Transmitters expose items from attached storage and supported machines so they can be used by Vaultline's automation systems.
Auto Sorter
Auto Sorters handle mixed items within a branch and route them toward storage based on the filters configured on your Receivers.
Processor
Processors automate vanilla crafting and production machines.
Supported machines are:
Crafting Table
Stonecutter
Smithing Table
Furnace
Blast Furnace
Smoker
You can select a recipe, choose a target quantity or Unlimited production, and Start, Pause, Resume or Stop the Processor.
Furnaces, Blast Furnaces and Smokers still use their normal inventories, fuel and processing behaviour.
Transporter
Transporters move items between different branches of the same Vaultline network.
They can be used for routes such as:
Core to Hub
Hub to Core
Hub to another Hub
Transporters are designed for cross-branch logistics. If the selected destination cannot accept an item, the item remains at the source rather than being lost.
Quick Deposit
Quick Deposit gives you a fast way to unload eligible items from your inventory into your Vaultline storage network.
This is useful after mining, exploring or gathering resources when you want to deposit items without manually visiting every storage container.
Multiplayer permissions
Vaultline includes three network roles.
Owner
The Owner has full control of the network, its infrastructure and its access permissions.
Manager
Managers can help build and configure the network and can add or remove ordinary Users.
Managers cannot take ownership of the network, transfer ownership, or add and remove other Managers.
User
Users can access and use the network, including features such as Quick Deposit, without receiving infrastructure administration permissions.
Hardening
Vaultline includes optional Hardening for eligible network infrastructure.
Hardening is designed to protect Vaultline infrastructure from physical destruction.
Each network has its own Hardening preference controlled by the network Owner. Server administrators can globally allow or disable Hardening and can optionally enable Indestructible mode.
Hardening is not intended to act as universal inventory or theft protection.
Server administration
Vaultline includes server administration controls for performance profiles and infrastructure protection.
These commands require Minecraft server operator or administrator permissions. Owning or managing a Vaultline network does not automatically grant access to server administration commands.
Performance profiles
/vaultline profile
Shows the currently selected Vaultline performance profile and its limits.
/vaultline profile list
Lists the performance profiles available for the current world or server.
/vaultline profile set <id>
Changes and saves the active performance profile using one of the IDs shown by the list command.
Fresh dedicated servers default to the Ultra Performance profile.
Fresh single-player worlds default to the Private / Single Player profile.
Profile changes apply immediately to new network expansion. Existing infrastructure is preserved if a newly selected profile has lower limits.
Global Hardening controls
/vaultline hardening
Shows whether Hardening is globally allowed.
/vaultline hardening on
Allows network Hardening globally.
/vaultline hardening off
Disables network Hardening globally.
/vaultline indestructible
Shows whether Indestructible mode is enabled.
/vaultline indestructible on
Enables the global Indestructible policy.
/vaultline indestructible off
Disables the global Indestructible policy.
Each Vaultline network must still have its own Hardening preference enabled by its Owner. Global Hardening must be allowed for that network preference to take effect.
Indestructible protection applies to eligible hardened infrastructure when the appropriate Hardening conditions are active.
Server configuration
Hardening settings are stored in:
config/vaultline-hardening.json
The default configuration is:
hardeningAllowed: true
indestructibleMode: false
hardness: 55
blastResistance: 1200
Hardness and blast resistance can be edited in the configuration file before server startup.
Manual changes to the configuration file are loaded when the server starts. Vaultline does not currently provide a live configuration reload command.
Performance profile selections are stored with the world and are managed using the profile commands above.
Astra
Vaultline has its own Survival progression based around a new resource called Astra.
Astra Ore generates naturally in the Nether, originating in Warped Forest terrain.
You will need an Iron-tier or better pickaxe to mine it properly.
Normal mining produces Raw Astra.
Fortune and Silk Touch are both supported.
When you obtain Raw Astra for the first time, the Vaultline hardware and Astra processing recipes become available through Minecraft's Recipe Book.
Raw Astra can be processed into Astra Ingots using either a Furnace or a Blast Furnace.
Astra Ingots are used to craft Vaultline's Core, Relay and five network devices.
Normal Astra deposits contain approximately 12 to 16 ore where terrain permits.
There is also a rare chance of discovering a much larger Astra deposit containing approximately 120 to 160 ore where terrain permits.
Existing worlds
Vaultline can be installed into an existing compatible Minecraft world.
Astra Ore is generated when new terrain is created. This means Astra will not suddenly appear inside Nether terrain that was already generated before Vaultline was installed.
You do not need to restart your world.
Explore new, previously ungenerated Warped Forest terrain in the Nether and Astra will be able to generate there.
Remote management
Vaultline supports remote management of known network devices while their physical chunks are loaded by the server.
Vaultline does not force-load chunks simply to provide remote device access.
Requirements
Minecraft 26.2
Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
Fabric API for Minecraft 26.2
Java 25 or newer
For multiplayer, Vaultline must be installed on both the server and connecting clients.
Modpacks
Vaultline may be included in legitimate CurseForge and Modrinth platform-managed modpacks when they use the official Vaultline project and file through the platform's normal managed system.
Independent re-uploading or mirroring of the Vaultline JAR is not permitted.
License and permitted use
Vaultline is Copyright © 2026 DutchieLabs and is distributed under the Vaultline Proprietary License.
Personal gameplay, private multiplayer, ordinary community servers, ordinary community-server funding, monetized gameplay videos and streams, and approved platform-managed modpacks are permitted under the license.
Independent redistribution, mirrors, redistributed modified versions or forks, resale, and paywalled copies of Vaultline are not permitted without authorization from DutchieLabs.
Commercial licensing
Ordinary players, content creators and community server operators do not need a commercial license merely because they receive normal advertising revenue, donations, memberships, subscriptions, server ranks or similar community funding.
A separate DutchieLabs Commercial License is intended for genuine business or commercial-scale use beyond those ordinary permitted activities.
This includes situations where a business uses Vaultline as a material component or advertised feature of a commercial product, paid service, organized commercial hosting operation or similar business offering.
There is no automatic server-count or revenue threshold. Commercial licensing is handled individually depending on the proposed use.
Businesses seeking broader commercial rights can contact DutchieLabs to discuss a separate commercial agreement.
