Greed rush source list

  • The source list works in a greed rush vault, under the name "Greed Sources". Same list, same rules: every source starts at ??? and fills in when you find one.
  • Values are shown in gold rather than the elixir purple.
  • Nothing is measured there and no server install is needed. Greed rush syncs what each source is worth to the client with the rest of the vault, so the numbers are already here; all that is left is finding each one.
  • Every filled bar rolls you a fresh set of values, so the list goes back to all unknown at that point and has to be found again. Both the bar counter and the values themselves are watched, so a roll that happens to repeat a number still resets its row.
  • Mob rows are the one exception: the vault keeps the per group values to itself. Those come from the payout itself, which states what it was worth, so each mob group fills in on its own as you kill one.
  • The payout also names the player it is being paid to, which settles whose loot it was exactly. That is better than measuring a distance: a hammer or a vein miner reaching across the room is still yours, and a teammate looting next to you still is not.

Changed

  • On 21.6.1 the elixir orb packet carries the exact value of the payout. Running the vault alone, every orb in it is yours, so a row now fills in from the first one you see instead of being measured from the elixir bar. No server install needed for that either.
  • Older builds do not send that value and are unchanged: the bar, the orb sprite and the optional server lookup are still what they were. A shared party vault is also unchanged, because the elixir packet, unlike the greed one, does not say who it is being paid to.
  • /vaultdisplay elixir reports greed rush too, including how many bars have been filled.

Fixed

  • A full elixir goal no longer stops the list filling in, on the builds that send the value. The bar was the measuring stick and a full one never moves again; the packet does not need it.

Build support

One jar covers 3.21.5-remastered, 21.6.1 and the builds in between. Greed rush exists in none of the older ones, so the code for it is only touched after a check that the objective is there at all, and the packet mixin has no target to apply to.
