Cosmetics have, with suggestions from my community, been considerably expanded with 20 new items this version.

All cosmetics now occupy a conventional curio slot (horns take up a head slot, tails take up a back slot) as well as a cosmetic curio slot (of which players have 4), making it easier than ever to build a full costume without sacrificing gameplay benefits.

As with the original horns, these cosmetics do not drop when you die (staying with you on respawn) and are fully dyeable like leather armour.

Lastly, the cosmetics are now part of their own loot table which can rarely be found in a number of treasure chests as well as through fishing, making them obtainable in Survival.

 

A few of the cosmetics also have recipes for further customisation:

  • Fox tails can be crafted together to make kitsune tails, up to the total 9 tails
  • Lizard tails can be crafted with nether quartz to make barbed lizard tails
  • Antenna can be crafted together to make ant antenna, which can be cycled to make moth antenna
  • Kirin horns can be crafted with a nether star to make storm sage horns, which glow in the dark
  • Cat tails can be crafted together to make bakeneko tails
