What's new
Wilderness Bound 1.0.0
First Wilderness Bound release package for Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 / Fabric.
This summarizes the implemented edition, including fixes developed in earlier
test builds; it is not a claim that each feature was added in the final packaging pass.
New features
- 300 quests across nine Ages, from Wood through Post-End, with server-recorded
item/action/exploration objectives and Age-based item and dimension unlocks.
- Leader-based Shared Quests with invitations, consent, shared contributions,
offline-leader support, leadership transfer and world-persistent teams.
- Current possession objectives combine eligible online teammates' inventories.
Recorded actions accumulate separately; equipment, levels and distinct objectives
keep their appropriate counting rules.
- Quest-specific rewards, completion messages/sounds and administrator commands.
- Galaxy Quest Book, permanent Planets utility item, current-quest HUD, adjustable
settings, rebindable controls and a skippable/replayable guided tutorial.
Improvements
- Responsive quest/settings/tracker layouts with six mod UI scales, wrapped Age
names, scrollable details and a native-style Planets slot beside the hotbar.
- Animated model and entrances, one-time startup intro and a shared menu backdrop.
- Quest music uses one stream, fades out over about three seconds, and resumes
smoothly if reopened during the fade instead of starting another copy.
- Release version 1.0.0 and final filename; existing Wilderness Bound mod ID,
resource/network namespaces and save identifiers are preserved.
- Updated ownership/attribution notices and transparent AI-development disclosure.
Fixes included
- Empty-stack tracking and the dragon-hook method signature startup failure.
- Crafting-table/inventory crafting, sapling planting, early raw-ore access,
anvil gates and Nether/End progression boundaries.
- Pottery sherd, armadillo, resin, shulker cargo and Copper Bulb circuit evidence.
- Team membership changes settle earned completions before copying progression;
old personal progress cannot raise the team's level or return on departure.
- Inventory transfers and repeated scans do not duplicate possession evidence.
Saved reward history and delivery receipts protect against ordinary repeat payouts.
- Removed unused background artwork and obsolete proposal notes from the JAR.
The authored quest catalog and active assets remain intact.
Compatibility and verification
- Minecraft **26.3**, Fabric Loader **0.19.3+**, Fabric API **0.160.5+26.3+ for 26.3**,
Java **25+**. Install on both client and server. Exact compile/test dependencies
use Loader 0.19.3, Fabric API 0.160.5+26.3 and JDK 25.0.4.
- Build and automated checks are recorded in the included verification report.
The build passed **390 tests in 56 suites**, with zero failures, errors or skips.
No Minecraft launch or playtest was performed during release preparation.
- Do not combine this JAR with Chaos Cubed or another Vanilla Progression version.
Back up existing worlds; original-edition progress is not automatically converted.
