Vanilla Degus

v1.6.2 - More Flexible Spawning and Better Mod Compatibility

This update focuses on making Vanilla Degus more flexible to use in modded environments, while also improving support for newer vanilla content and polishing a few smaller behaviors.

Main Changes

• Spawn settings can now be configured through a config file. This lets you adjust degu spawn balance more freely when using Vanilla Degus alongside other mods.
• Compatibility conflicts with other mods have been significantly reduced.
• Added Short Dry Grass and Tall Dry Grass as staple foods for degus. Degus can now naturally break and eat these blocks while roaming.
• Players affected by Degu's Grace can now also eat Short Dry Grass and Tall Dry Grass.

Minor Adjustments

• Baby collar colors now mix from their parents, matching vanilla behavior.
• Degu dancing now supports the tempo of the newer music discs Tears and Lava Chicken.
• Players affected by Degu's Grace no longer regain hunger from breaking grass if the block drops a collectible item through shears or Silk Touch.
• Update particle effect colors for obesity status changes.
• Update to add small eating sound for breeding, growing and feeding, not only healing.
• Fix toggling sitting not working when player holding breeding items.
• Baby degus are also affected by the effects of DeguGrace and the toxins from overconsumption.
