What's new

Vanguard's Kit 2.2.2

Forge 1.20.1 release, built with Forge 47.4.2 and Java 17. Install the matching Forge version on client and server.

  • Updated Forge combat framework used by Divinity Engine 1.12.
  • Includes posture, the back slot, weapon and armor archetypes, Battle Aspects, and their synchronization and rendering integrations.
  • Includes the built-in Battle Aspect item models and shared texture.
  • Bundles MixinExtras 0.4.1.
  • Expanded Java addon documentation covering registries, capabilities, combat events and networking.

Validation: Java 17 compilation, JarJar packaging and reobfuscation passed. There is no unit-test suite in this project; full packaged multiplayer testing remains incomplete.

Divinity Engine 1.12 already bundles this version, so its users do not need a separate Vanguard download. Back up existing worlds before upgrading mods.
