Description
This mod turns your villagers into something useful!
The Farmer is your village grower and supply runner.
By day, they work nearby fields: harvesting ripe crops, tilling dirt into farmland, and replanting seeds so farms stay productive. As they gain experience, they use better hoes and bring in bigger harvests. They also collect dropped produce around them and carry extra inventory compared to normal villagers. Every so often, they walk to the nearest chest and store food and crops, while keeping seeds for continued planting.
The Shepherd is your livestock caretaker and animal-product collector.
By day, they patrol for named farm animals, breed them using stored feed (wheat for sheep/cows, carrots for pigs, seeds for chickens and emus) from nearbu chests, shear sheep, occasionally milk cows, and collect eggs/wool/milk from nearby drops. They always carry shears, and better villager levels increase how much wool or milk they produce per action. Every so often, they deliver shepherd goods to the nearest barrel, including many modded egg/milk/wool variants.
The Butcher is your automated livestock processor and meat supplier.
By day, they hunt nearby adult, unnamed livestock (cows, pigs, chickens, and supported modded targets), chase reachable animals, and finish them quickly once in range. After each kill, they collect dropped meat and byproducts, and higher-level butchers can pull in larger yields from pickup bonuses. They carry an axe that upgrades with villager level, helping reinforce their progression as a dedicated production worker. On a timed cycle, they head to the nearest barrel and unload meats, hides, feathers, eggs, milk, and similar butcher goods.
CURRENT BUG: The butcherse have issues hitting their target reliably but will eventually get the job done!
The Fisherman is your water-harvest specialist and seafood supplier.
By day, they equip a fishing rod, search nearby water, move into position, and fish on a repeating timer. Catches include cod, salmon, tropical fish, and pufferfish, with higher-level fishers getting larger haul sizes. They also check for modded crab traps, walk over to reachable ones, and pull fish-like loot directly from trap inventories. As they work, they gather nearby aquatic drops and build experience over time. On a timed cycle, they deposit fish and water-loot items into the nearest chest so their inventory stays clear.
The Chef is your village meal-maker and kitchen manager.
Unlike most workers, they keep working day and night. They gather ingredients from nearby chests, pick recipes they can actually complete, and use the right workstation automatically: cutting boards/crafting tables for prep, then pots, campfires, furnaces, or stoves for cooking. They turn raw foods into better meals, gain XP as they cook, and avoid getting stuck on failed recipes by rotating targets. Finished meals are delivered to nearby barrels, while reusable cooking ingredients are stashed in chests for future batches.
Just make sure to stock their stations with bowls and fuel, or they wont work!
all villagers inventory capacity has been increased to 20, and you can check their inventories by crouching and right clikcing on them. Have fun with youre new village!
It's highl recommended you fence them all into their own zones so they dont wander off.
