The goal of this mod is to add as much useful food as possible to minecraft, without destroying the vanilla feeling of it. No extreme and complicated recipes! The mod is supposed to be simple and useful for the user, to make food from things you normally can't make food from and to add a large variety of food to make minecraft more interesting.

I don't know how likely it would be, but I'd love to see a 1.12.2 version one day. I've always enjoyed this mod, and it'd be great to be able to use it in my current game.
Can you please update to 1.12.2 or 1.13 when you can? If I knew how to update mods, I would do so :(.

Is it possible to make the soups and cakes also compatible with AppleCore, HungerOverhaul and The Spice of Life? All other items work great.

I notice through Github that the last update to this mod was two years ago. Would you be willing to release this mod to me so that I may update it and make it relevant to the latest releases of Minecraft?

This is one of my favorite food mods of all time. I've been using it since it was first put out.
I would really love to see a 1.8.9 version. The majority of mods seem to be moving in this direction. 1.9 will be ages and ages away.
