New
- Ported to Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge 21.1.172 or newer).
- Redesigned Fusion Table:
- New block model with an arcane engraving on the top.
- New window in arcane violet colours.
- New refinement ritual:
- Your item floats in the centre of a magic circle while Standard Galactic letters flow into it.
- The Ring of Fate fills up and only closes when the refinement succeeds.
- New arcane sound effects for every step: runes, build-up, success and failure.
- When a totem protects your item, the totem animation plays.
- Reaching +9 triggers a full-screen legendary celebration, and the whole server sees a chat announcement (it follows the announceAdvancements game rule).
- New enchanted look for refined and enchanted equipment: a holographic shine, a soft glow and floating runes.
- New "Shine" particles: stardust, sparkles and glints in your item's colour.
- Visual effects work on weapons, tools and armour from other mods, not only vanilla.
- In Skin Customization you can switch the effects between Shine and Off separately for tools, weapons and armour. It only changes what you see; your stats stay the same.
- Effect values can be tuned in config/upgrade_plus_9-vfx.json and reloaded with /upgrade_vfx reload.
- Shader pack support (Iris / Oculus): particles and the enchantment glint still show. A simple shine can be turned on with the sheenWithShaders client option.
Changes
- Item tooltips now show the total damage and armour, with the refinement bonus included.
