UntamedWilds 2.3.0:

General Changes:

-Nesting behavior, some mobs will, after mating, build a physical Nest (or lay eggs in a compatible one, if any exists), which causes mobs to spawn like a burrow does. Currently ONLY available to Reptiles and WIP. Right-click to take eggs from nests

-Added Retaliation behavior, some of the larger mobs will, when damaged in Melee, do a "Thorns-like" attack. This is meant to make mobs less vulnerable to large numbers of attackers. Players and tamed mobs do not suffer from these attacks

-Technically a bugfix, but Fish Schooling behavior got reworked and improved. Certain types of fish will share move orders, for a more natural fish schooling behavior (Trevallies and Batfish)

-Added a "targets Undead" config option, to prevent Undead mobs from being targeted by the hunting AI

-Small model and behavior changes for Softshell Turtles

Additions:

-Added King Crabs, with 3 variants that can be uncommonly found in temperate-cold Oceans, skulking on the seafloor while sifting the seabed for food. They can be bucketed

-Added Spadefish/Batfish, a schooling fish with 4 variants that can be found in most oceans, ambience mob, but can be bucketed

-Added Monitor Lizards, with 5 variants that can be found on most warm biomes + swamps, these predators will grab and shake small prey to death. Monitor Lizards are nesting mobs, and will drop some Leather if killed

-Added Spitter, an experimental monster that can be found in Lush Caves, its data needs to be unlocked by observing one with a Spyglass. Highly territorial, wild Spitters will attack other adults of their same gender, and their presence is enough to inhibit the growth of larvae into new adults. Spitter larva will follow adults, and take part in fights by spitting poisonous slime, while adults will charge and rend with their claws. This is a very experimental addition and feedback would be appreciated

Bug fixes:

-Made Whales drop Pachyderm meat instead of Bear meat

-Improved Melee AI so there is less downtime between attacks if no animation plays

-Prevent burrows from spawning mobs with invalid variants

-Clamp invalid variant data on NBT load into valid values, should fix recurring Out-of-bounds errors

-Fixed incorrect swimming logic, fish should now swim more freely in the water column, instead of hugging the water surface

-Fixed fish schooling behavior not working

-Most likely fixed mating AI for certain mobs
