- Mod now requires any mixin booter like mod. ANY.
- If you wish too not use the new combat system for the mods weapons, in ModConfig disable combat_system_enabled. This combat system is still in testing and will recieve further changes.
UDA 1.7.3 - The Night and Blade
Mechanics Added
- A new combat system, only applies to weapons from UDA. Every melee weapon now has animations for first and third person. Additionally dealing damage is delayed to where the weapon is at it's maximum swing. There is also other soft mechanics to help with this such as weapons being able to still deal damage even when not looking at an entity up close. Weapons also have various ranges they can hit entities at. While 80% of them stay at the default range, spears have a longer range and daggers have a shorter one.
- A staggering system called Falter. Every mob and boss can apply falter build up to the player. That will display on your screen how close you are to being staggered. In term you can stagger mobs and bosses for a bonus damage hit when they are staggered. On top of this every weapon have different stagger build up values that can be read in there description.
- Hemorhage - A new potion effect when applied and when the potion effect ends it applies magic damage to the player. Basically a delayed bleed.
- Degradation - When applied, mobs and players will deal damage based on how low there health is. Meaning 7 attack damage sword deals 3.5 damage when the player is at half health with this potion applied.
Content Added
- Dark Ruins, a new location to visit that holds UDA's tenth boss!
- Added new items related to the new location.
- Added the Midnight Void, a potion bottle that players can make that will spawn a Dark Void. An entity that summons waves of Roh mobs with the chance of a weaker version of Dauntless spawning. When slaying her she will drop the locator item to go fight her full form.
- Added trinkets Goat's tenacity and Pocket Pistol.
- Added Dauntless, Sword of Night. A new boss in the collection who is opposite of the Night Lich.
- Added new rooms to the Rotten Hold (A teaser for it's eventual revamp).
Changes & Fixes
- Fixed the High King's ultimate ability from hitting players on his teleport after the third dash. This was not intended except when his animation pairs with the AOE.
- Changed Roh loot tables to have a bit more higher drop rate for Roh Void Mana.
- Fixed Enderphrite Chestplate scaling, should no longer render under leggings.
- Added config options for disabling fire resistant items, and Azaela Vines depth.
