UnOredinary is a Minecraft mod that introduces a variety of exotic, rare ores to the game, each with distinct properties and uses. These ores, found deep within the world or in specific biomes, can be mined and refined into powerful alloys, advanced tools, durable armor, and unique decorative blocks. While obtaining and processing these materials requires significant effort and resources, the rewards are substantial—crafting high-tier gear that offers unparalleled strength, efficiency, and versatility.

Ore descriptions:

Hemocrylic ore:

A rare ore that can be found in ice biomes such as frozen ocean.

You can use it to craft Frosteel Ingot with Iron Ingot, which can be used to upgrade your iron tier weapon/tools to frosteel tier weapon/tools (frosteel is stronger than irons but weaker than diamonds).

 

Cryostone ore (not finished):

Ores that can be found in any cold biome.

They are kinda similar to redstone, you can use it as redstone.

 

 Luminite ore:

Ores that can only be found in lush caves.

They will drop luminite crystals that can be crafted into Luminthium Ingot with the combination of Copper Ingot. You can then make luminthium tools/armors (roughly the same level as iron).

 

Solarite ore:

An exteme ore that can be found in lava pools, EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.

They will drop solarite gem which can be used to craft solarite armors and toosls.

 

Ruby ore:

Ores that can be found everywhere, it's literally red diamonds, don't really have some unique thig, but they're a little bit stronger than diamonds.

Tools/armors' descriptions:

Frosteel:

If you want to create frosteel tools or armors, the only way is to get the frosteel upgrade smithing template from frozen tombs (new structure that generate in cold biomes), you can combine it with iron tools/armors and froteel ingot.

Frosteel tools deal more damage in cold biomes. If you're in an extremely cold biome, its damage will get 2x. The frosteel pickaxe can mine a 3x3 area if you are mining ices. If you wear frosteel boots, you can walk on water and on powder snow, you also immune so freeze damage.

 

Luminthium:

You need to combine luminite crystals with copper ingot to get the luminthium ingot. Then, create the tools/armors just like all others.

If you wear the luminthium helmet, you will get night vision effect. They will also mark the enemies in a certain radius.

 

Solarite:

You can create solarite tools/armors just like the others.

Solarite tools will set the enemy that you attack on fire and deal extra fire damage. Solarite pickaxe will automatically smelt the ores that you mined. If you wear a full set of solarite armors, you will be immune to fire.
