An unofficial add-on for Mebahel’s RPG - Villager Quests and Companions.
I really liked the dialogue menu Mebahel’s RPG adds, but it only showed up on villagers that had something for you, like a quest or a rumour. Every other villager went straight to the trade screen. This mod gives every villager the dialogue menu.
What it does
- Right-clicking any ordinary trading villager opens the dialogue menu with a greeting for their profession.
- Click “Show me your wares.” to open trading like normal.
- Villagers with a quest that’s still locked get the greeting too.
- Villagers with quests, rumours, courier jobs or companion roles are left alone, so Mebahel’s RPG handles them like it always does.
- Sneak + right-click still opens trading straight away if you want to skip the greeting.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge
- Mebahel’s RPG - Villager Quests and Companions
- Sinytra Connector and Forgified Fabric API, which Mebahel’s RPG needs to run on Forge
If Mebahel’s RPG isn’t installed, this mod does nothing.
Install it on both the client and the server.
I made this for my personal use but if you want to use it please feel free to do so.
