Universal Storage Search

Universal Storage Search (USS) is a client-side Minecraft mod that helps you find items across storage containers you have already opened.

Instead of checking chest after chest trying to remember where you left something, USS keeps track of previously opened storage blocks and lets you search their contents from one simple menu.

Press Y to open the Universal Storage Search interface.

Features

How It Works

USS does not scan containers through walls or discover storage you have never accessed.

A container is only added to USS after you personally open it. The mod remembers the items that were inside at the time of the last scan.

Because of this, stored information can become outdated if another player changes the container while you are away.

USS is also read-only. You cannot remotely take, move, or deposit items through the search menu.
