v1.1.0 - The "Native" Update
BIG NEWS: Universal RPG Skills is now a Standalone Java Mod! We have completely rewritten the code from scratch in Java. You no longer need KubeJS or any other dependencies. Just drop it in and play!
Major Changes
[NEW] Standalone Core: Transformed from a script into a native Forge Mod.
[REMOVED] Dependencies: No longer requires KubeJS. File size is tiny and performance is instant.
New Features
Level-Up Rewards: You now receive physical items when reaching milestones!
Level 10: Starter Iron Tools for that skill.
Level 50: Diamond Tools & Riches.
Level 100: Endgame Gear (Netherite/Enchanted Golden Apples).
Lucky Break Events: Every time you gain XP, there is a 5% Chance to trigger a "Lucky Break".
Effect: Instantly grants 5x XP for that action.
Audio: Plays a satisfying "Chime" sound.
Perk System Overhaul
Passive buffs are no longer generic. They now match the skill you are leveling!
Miner: Unlocks Night Vision (Lvl 20) and Haste (Lvl 40+).
Combat: Unlocks Resistance (Lvl 20) and Strength (Lvl 50+).
Fishing: Unlocks Water Breathing (Lvl 10) and Dolphin's Grace (Lvl 40).
Farming: Unlocks Saturation (Lvl 30) so you never get hungry while farming.
Excavation: Unlocks Speed (Lvl 10) to move faster on path blocks.
Technical & Quality of Life
Clean Dashboard: The !skills command now clears the chat log before displaying stats for a cleaner, menu-like look.
Strict Tool Checks: Excavation now properly requires a Shovel to gain XP (no more punching dirt for free levels!).
Optimized Code: XP calculations now use HashMaps for zero-lag performance on servers.
How to Update:
- Delete the old
universal_skills.jsfrom your KubeJS folder (if you had it). - Delete KubeJS (unless you need it for other mods).
- Drop
UniversalSkills-1.1.0.jarinto yourmodsfolder. - Enjoy!
