Universal Chat Translator is a lightweight, high-performance client-side mod for Forge 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.21.1. It is designed to break language barriers on international servers by providing real-time chat translation directly in your game window.

Whether you are playing on a global server or interacting with a diverse community, this mod ensures you never miss a word.

Key Features

Real-time Incoming Translation: Instantly translates incoming messages from other players into your native language.
Two-Way Translation (New!): Translate your own messages into the target language automatically before sending them to the server. Communicate with anyone instantly!
Text-to-Speech (TTS) (New!): Listen to translated messages out loud using your system's native voice assistant. Perfect for staying focused during intense gameplay.
In-Chat Copy Button (New!): Click the quick [📋] icon next to any translated message to instantly copy it to your clipboard.
Custom Prefix Styling (New!): Personalize your chat look! Cycle through multiple custom prefix colors (Gold, Aqua, Green, Red, Purple, Blue) right from the configuration screen.
Client-Side Only: No server installation required! Works on any server without any risk of being banned, as it only modifies your local chat view.

How to Use

Press J (Default Keybind): Opens the brand-new, clean, and interactive configuration GUI.
/translator menu: Opens the settings GUI via command.
/translator toggle: Instantly turn the translator ON or OFF.

Inside the GUI Menu:

Source Language: Set the input language (e.g., auto for auto-detect, en, es).
Target Language: Set your native language (e.g., fr, en).
Toggle Text-to-Speech or Translate my own messages with simple checkboxes!
