Install Forge 1.20.1: https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.20.1.html
Download and add the Universal Battling Craft mod jar file to your Minecraft mods folder
Launch Minecraft, selecting your installation as Forge 1.20.1
Make sure that everything is downloaded, also make sure if it is compatible with mods /mod, also the optifine could interfere with you.
Now create a world, go in, enjoy the gameplay.
