UniMod is a mod which add various useful gadgets and tools.
One of the best things are the modular cables (UniCable), which can transport various things like: Items, Fluids, Redstone Signal.... Also they are modular so it means that anyone could add a new module into it to allow them to transport different things like Vis (Thaumcraft), RF (Thermal Expansion), EU (IC2), etc.
