Unicorn Academy: Bonded Magic (unofficial)

Unicorn Academy (unofficial fan mod) Ride and bond with the unicorns of Unicorn Academy, awaken their magic, and sail a winged ferry to Unicorn Island.

An add-on for Star Worm Equestrian (SWEM) on Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge). The unicorns are real SWEM horses: SWEM's tack, gaits, care and riding all work, and the mod adds the bonds, the magic and the island.

Unofficial and fan-made. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Netflix, Spin Master, Nelvana, Nosy Crow or the authors of the Unicorn Academy books. Nothing from SWEM is included; it is required as a separate download.

The unicorns Meet Wildstar, Leaf, Glacier, River, Cinder and Storm, each with their own coat, horn and magic. Find their spawn eggs in the creative tab, tame them like any SWEM horse, and start building your bond.

Bond and magic Riding, exploring new places, feeding and brushing all grow your bond (levels 0 to 10). At bond 5 the magic awakens: glowing bond markings appear on the coat, and more powers unlock as the bond deepens.

Unicorn Magic Wildstar Rainbow Light Bridge, Light Flash, Guiding Light, Focused Flash, Light Shield, Rainbow Vision, Rainbow Starfall Leaf Vine Manipulation, Plant Growth, Plant Resizing, Vine Barrier, All-Seeing Butterfly Glacier Ground Freeze, Ice and Snow Blast, Ice Wall, Ice Trail, Time Freeze River Water Creation, Water Manipulation, Water Shield, Air Bubble (dive and swim underwater) Cinder Fireball, Red-Hot Hooves, Wall of Fire, Pillar of Fire, Super Fiery Speed Storm Thunder and Lightning, Weather Manipulation, Miniature Tornado, Thunder Shockwave, Flying Lightning Powers are based on the show as closely as Minecraft allows; the few that are this mod's own ideas are labelled "expansion" in game. Awakened unicorns also defend themselves and you with their attack powers.

Fairy wings: set a Fairy Gemstone in a strongly bonded unicorn's gem slot and it grows feathered wings in its own colours, flying with SWEM's flight controls.

Magical ferries and Unicorn Island Somewhere along the coast, a white boat with folded wings rests on the water. Climb aboard: its wings open, it lifts off, opens a rift in the sky and carries you to Unicorn Island, gliding down to land on its shore.

There is only one boat per crossing. It stays where it took you and brings you back to exactly where you boarded, so remember where your ferries are. Each ferry always links the same two places.

Unicorn Island is an archipelago of ten biomes: cherry-blossom Unicorn Wildwood, Academy Meadows, Skyberry Thickets, Whispering Willows, the volcanic Ember Highlands, snowy Frostpeak, Prism Beach, Rainbow Streams, the Crystal Lagoon and the Sapphire Sea. Pick sky berries to restore a unicorn's magic.

Wild unicorns Wild herds roam Unicorn Island. They're not common, so finding one is special. Every wild unicorn is one of a kind, with its own coat, name, element and rarity (3, 4 or 5 powers). Its magic is a secret: the coat might hint at its element, but you only find out when your bond awakens it, and each power stays a mystery until you reach its level. Now and then, one of the show's unicorns turns up in a herd.

Handy commands (operators) /unicornacademy ready tames the unicorn you ride (or the nearest one), gives it full tack, maximum bond and full magic. /unicornacademy ferry spawn places a ferry on water near you. /unicornacademy spawn <unicorn> spawns a unicorn.
