Since 1.7.10, there are some changes come to the Minecraft GUI scale ratio calculation, which makes many small text unable to read and distinguish in Unicode font mode. If you plays the game by setting the option "Force Unicode Font" to "ON" or under a Unicode-only language environment like Chinese or Japanese, you will meet this annoying problem.
For example, this is what you can see though a thaumometer in Unicode font mode:
Look at the popup messages in the lower right corner. Too bad, right? I have reported these issues to many mod authors to convince them to enlarge the small text in their mod. Many authors have updated their mods, but there are still some mods I need to fix by myself.
Unicode Font Fixer is a mod to fix broken text caused by small Unicode font (those text with < 1.0 OpenGL scale ratio).

Open Blocks: The font size issue in handbook has already got fixed internally in the newest verion. Check the language file (*.lang) and you will find the config option for it.
If you want send me a request to add support to some other mods. Please follow the steps below:
- Launch Minecraft, with the mods you want to get supported and the Unicode Font Fixer mod installed.
- Play the game for a while. Be sure to open all (or at least all of you know) GUIs with broken text.
- Send me the fml-client-latest.log in .minecraft\logs\ directory, or just post those lines with "unicodefontfixer.RenderingDebugger" in the log file.
After installing the mod, the popup messages will get an appropriate font size:
In addition to this example, the Unicode Font Fixer mod will fix every broken text in the mods listed above.

Wish this would work for the ''Journeymap'' it's almost impossible to read the text underneath the journeymap. Wish could sort this issue i always have
May I humbly request a fix for Wireless Crafting Terminal (item number and crafting info panel) font size? I suppose it should be easy since it is similar to the AE2 crafting terminal...And is there a way to change the font size in config? I remember it had this option in older versions.
I've been playing/using MC since the early 1.7.x versions, approximately (I forgot the exact dates), but have only recently in the past seven months or so taken a serious interest in the more advanced aspects of the game, and have yet to even try multiplayer lol! The point is, my modding skills and knowledge of the general MC API are nothing at the moment, and so I was wondering if the problem/bug this mod was written to right are still an issue in later versions (i.e., 1.9.4 or 1.10.x), and if so, if this or a similar mod is available for them. In either case, I think it's a great utility and very worthy of being on Curse. Thanks for your hard work on it and for any answers from anyone in advance. =)
I haven't make a 1.8.9/1.9.4/1.10.2/1.11 version because:
1. There are not too many mods in 1.8.9 and later.
2. Many modders are already aware of this problem, they fixed the font issue by themselves in 1.8.9+ versions (like Thaumcraft).
The best way to fix the font issue is telling the mod owner to fix it, not using a external patch mod.
Set the scale ratio in OpenModsLib's lang file:
Check zh_CN.lang for a example.

Which mod lang files, and what config option to look for?
I've read both mod's lang files, but nothing caught my eye, and the font in the book is still tiny.

Would there be a way for you to have it so that the GUI size is bigger when it's on large gui type as it's too small :/
Maybe it will solve a few problems, but no all. Force GUI size to be large type will make many GUIs out of screen.
