Unessential Aspects

Description

Unessential Aspects adds atmospheric dimensions. It is still in development: the current beta introduces worlds, some special encounters, resources, and journal book, all of which future releases will develop further.

The Null

The Null is a dark world beneath teal sky, dense ambience and six distinct biomes. It includes creatures such as Nulljaws, Witherboars, and Black Moths, and some less natural entities that can react to what you carry, or how long you look at them.

The dimension also contains Void Sugilite, a material used to upgrade Netherite equipment

To enter the Null:

1. Craft a Sacrificial Dagger from one stick and one iron ingot.
2. Use it on animals to obtain three pieces of Blood.
3. Combine obtained Blood with Flint and Steel to craft Bloody Flint.
4. Build a Nether-style frame from Blackstone and ignite it with Bloody Flint.

Dream Scapes

Beds in the Null lead to Dream Scapes, and using a bed there returns you to the Null. Dream Scapes is an ever-bright and seemingly peaceful place with continuous low-frequency ambience, and structures that contain some unusual objects and more.

The Journal

Mod also adds the Unessential journal it contains information, in which pages are unlocked by exploring, observing creatures, and obtaining special objects. Locked entries remain hidden until their actual discovery.
