Overview

Undead Horse Tame Fix is a lightweight compatibility mod that improves the experience of using Skeleton Horses and Zombie Horses in survival gameplay.

By enabling intuitive taming and horse armor support, the mod removes long-standing inconsistencies while preserving the familiar feel of vanilla Minecraft.

The goal is simple: make undead horses as practical and rewarding to use as their living counterparts.

Why Undead Horse Tame Fix?

Skeleton and Zombie Horses are among Minecraft's most unusual mounts, yet they lack several interactions players naturally expect after using normal horses.

Undead Horse Tame Fix closes that gap by restoring familiar behavior and making these unique mounts easier to use throughout normal gameplay.

Undead Horse Taming

Undead Horse Tame Fix allows supported undead horses to be tamed through a straightforward interaction.

Once tamed, they become owned mounts that can be used normally without relying on commands or additional mechanics.

Horse Armor Support

Once tamed, supported undead horses can equip horse armor through the normal horse inventory.

This allows Skeleton Horses and Zombie Horses to benefit from the same equipment system used by standard horses while keeping the interaction familiar.

Installation

Install Undead Horse Tame Fix on both the client and the server.

Supported environments:

Single-player

Dedicated servers

No additional configuration is required. Undead Horse Tame Fix has intentionally been designed without user-adjustable settings.
