The final jar for mc 1.7.10 contained two sensors, the original Moon Phase sensor and a new Weather Sensor.
For mc v1.8+, this mod also includes Uncle Jeff's pressure plates. Because of the mod's origin as just a moon-phase sensor, you might see a name to that effect in message logs, but it now refers to the full suite of sensors.
The 1.7.2 version was tested in both SP and MP against Forge 1.7.2 (build 1121, client & server) and forge
1.7.10 (b 1180, 1448 & 1614). The mc 1.8 version was tested client-server (separate machines), each running Forge
build 1450 (& now build 1577).
Moon Phase Sensor: Like a daylight detector, but with variable output equal to moon-phase+1 at night, zero
by day. Use this to activate a device or circuit on selected days of Minecraft's 8-day lunar cycle.
Crafting (yes, it's odd, but I have rationale* for it):
G - G - G G = Glass BLOCK
rm- q - F rm = red mushroom, q = quartz flake, F = raw fish (not clown, puff or salmon)
Ws- r - Ws Ws = (any) Woodslab, r = redstone dust
Signal Strength per Phase:
Full Moon = 1
Waning Gibbous = 2
Last Quarter = 3
Waning Crescent= 4
New Moon = 5
Waxing Crescent= 6
First Quarter = 7
Waxing Gibbous = 8
Used in circuits combining both it and a daylight detector, I've discovered that daylight's weak twilight
tails (both predawn and post-sunset) overlap with moonlight-on. Some interesting combinations should be
possible. I'm using them to move a storage cart through 4 loading/unloading stations per day around a
closed track (new pics up).
* Certain fish obey phases of the moon to spawn and whatnot. The red mushroom responds to light (and isn't
needed for any other non-food recipe I know). More importantly, a bizarre recipe is unlikely to collide
with one in any other mod.
Weather Sensor:
Literally a pale imitation of a cauldron. The Weather Sensor emits a variable redstone current depending on
its local weather. It accounts for desert, frozen biomes, and high-mountain snow. It will not signal
indoors or underground. It displays a water level inside that reflects its current signal strength, but
that's graphics only -- You can't draw water from it!

Signal strength:
Can ramp up and/or down when weather is changing, but the transitions are quite quick. Usually the signal
is pegged at the upper end of a weather condition's range.

Cloudy-Desert = 1
Snow = 1-5
Rain = 6-10
Thunder = 11-15
Added in version 1.7.10-00.01.05, which has only been tested against Forge 1.7.10 (both SP and MP
client-server).
Uncle Jeff's Pressure Plates:

Built using Forge 1.8 (b 1450).
This mod introduces five specialized pressure plates and one achievement. Each recipe is a 2x2 shaped recipe, two redstone dust under two "key ingredient". The achievement triggers** the first time you craft one after fulfilling the prerequisite (Repopulation).
If more than one relevant living entity is detected by a plate, then the plate's output signal equals the strongest of the detected mobs.
Plates and their signals:
1) Person Detector (non-hostile humanoids)
Ingredient = Hay Bale
Signals: pigman = 1, villager = 2, player = 15
2) Livestock Detector (Animals raised for meat and/or materials)
Ingredient = Clay Block
Signals: chicken = 1, pig = 2*, cow = 3, sheep = 4, rabbit = 5***, squid = 6, mooshroom = 7
3) Non-Farm Animal Detector (Passive animals not usually raised for meat or materials)
Ingredient = Brick Block
Signals: bat = 1, horse = 2, wolf/dog = 3, ocelot/cat = 4
4) Monster Detector (Overworld hostile mobs except bosses)
Ingredient = Mossy Cobble
Signals: slime (or magma cube) = 1, zombie = 2, skeleton (or wither-sk) = 3, spider = 4, creeper = 5, silverfish = 6, witch = 7, killer rabbit = 8, enderman = 9
5) Demon Detector (Netherworld hostile mobs, but not bosses)
Ingredient = Quartz Ore
Signals: magma-cube = 1, ghast = 2, skeleton = 3, wither-skeleton =4, blaze = 5
As of mc 1.8:
6) Owner Detector (He who places is detected, but he may invert to detect only all others)
Ingredient = Crafting Table
Signal: (non) Owner = 15
* By design, pig and horse have same output signal.
** The crafting achievement seems to trigger only if you craft exactly one plate by simple drag-drop (not shift-click).
*** Killer Rabbit will NOT trigger a livestock p-plate.
Future Flashes: I intend to add a minecart-chest content-weighted plate, which will act like a heavy weighted plate measuring a chest in a minecart according to the sum of its contents stacks.
