Turn late-game Minecraft into temporary boss mode with two extraordinarily
powerful, carefully balanced custom apples.

## Two levels of God Mode

### Ultra God Apple

- 15 minutes of Ultra God Mode
- 200 maximum HP / 100 hearts
- Regeneration X
- Resistance IV
- Strength X
- Speed II
- Haste V
- Jump Boost II
- Fire Resistance, Water Breathing, Night Vision, and Luck V

### Enchanted Ultra God Apple

- 30 minutes of Enchanted Ultra God Mode
- 500 maximum HP / 250 hearts
- Regeneration XX
- Resistance IV
- Strength XX
- Speed II
- Haste X
- Jump Boost II
- Fire Resistance, Water Breathing, Night Vision, and Luck X
- Permanent enchantment glint

Resistance is intentionally capped at IV because Resistance V makes ordinary
damage ineffective. Speed and Jump Boost stay at level II so movement remains
controllable.

## Compact custom health HUD

God Mode replaces only the vanilla heart layer with a small boss-style health
bar showing:

- Current and maximum HP
- Remaining God Mode duration
- A distinct gold or purple design for each mode
- Smooth health-bar animation

Armor, hunger, XP, hotbar, crosshair, and every other HUD element remain
untouched.

## Craft them or find them

Both apples have extremely expensive late-game crafting recipes. They can also
appear as rare chest loot:

- Ancient City chests: 3% Ultra / 0.5% Enchanted
- End City treasure chests: 5% Ultra / 1% Enchanted

Loot chances and crafting recipes can be customized. The Enchanted recipe uses
renewable End Crystals rather than Dragon Eggs.

## Built for real worlds and multiplayer

- Server-authoritative health and effects
- Per-player synchronized HUD state
- Safe cleanup after expiration or death
- Handles reconnects, dimension changes, and server restarts
- Eating an Enchanted apple upgrades normal Ultra God Mode
- Eating a normal apple never downgrades Enchanted mode
- Always edible, even at full hunger
- Fast 0.5-second eating time
- Custom particles, activation sounds, tooltips, textures, and creative tab

## Configuration

The mod creates `config/ultra-god-apples.json` on first launch. You can change:

- Durations
- Maximum health
- Regeneration, Strength, Resistance, Speed, Haste, and Jump Boost levels
- Ancient City and End City loot chances
- Whether the custom HUD is enabled

Safety limits keep Resistance at IV and Speed/Jump Boost at II.

## Requirements

- Minecraft Java 26.1.2
- Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer
- Fabric API 0.155.2+26.1.2
- Java 25

Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API, then place the Ultra God Apples JAR in
your `mods` folder. The mod must be installed on both the server and each
connecting client.
