Progressive Swords
No the name is not what you think, these swords don't actually drive electric cars. Progressive Swords refers to a group of swords in the mod that take you through the entire games progression in order to craft.
The Apple Bonker
Your first step into this progression is to find a stick and an apple and stick them together. don't worry about its lack of strength, these blades get really powerful later on.
This blade represents the ingenuity of the human mind and it pushes sword crafting to its extreme.

The Bedtime Story
Now that you've reaped some spoils from your Apple Bonker. Take it a crafting table and combine it with any piece of wool, leather, or rabbit hide.
This blade will surely put your foes to sleep, with enough wacks.

The Afterlife
Now its time for the real thing. with your Bedtime Story and a bone in hand. Take them to the smithing table to forge The Afterlife.
This blade represents the rebirth of the dead.

The Iron Organisword
We get it... you could've just crafted a normal iron sword and it would have been stronger. But tell that to your iron sword wielding friends when you show them your Glaskean!

The Sifterbrand
Its time to spice up your blade with nature, and venturing out to a desert sounds like a perfect way to start. Blade designs start to get a bit more interesting from here.

The Dynamus
Now that you've been to the hottest of the hot, its time to venture to the coldest of the cold.

The Bumbleblade
Now that you've mastered the desert and snow, its time to master the art of beekeeping.

The Seedlithe
Farming is the core of Minecraft, so why not make it the core of your blade.

The Gemcutter
We get it, sometimes the normal progression is best. So combining your Bumbleblade with a diamond just sounds like the right choice. Some long lost knowledge may be needed to upgrade your blade further.

The Geodus
Now available at your local Dungeons and/or Desert Temples is the "Lost Knowledge: Blade Reforgement I". With this book in hand you can finally upgrade your blade to the Geodus.

The Glaskean
A blade forged from lava sounds absolutely epic. Too bad you need crying obsidian, so this blade is just forged from the remains of portals. Still cool tho

Essence of the Nether
The Glaskean's bigger brother, this sword isn't a real nether portal, but the recreation and power increase gives it the feel.

Pristine Sabre
Look at how elegant that blade is, so smooth and perfect, and also extremely light.

The Forseer
I wouldn't wrong this blade if I were you, it might be sentient.

The Endosheith
Its time to go back to the deep cold, this time to an iceburg. Getting some blue ice shouldn't be that hard... right?

Aeternus Blade
Forged from the Heart of the Sea, stabs the hearts of your enemies. Some more lost knowledge may be required in order to upgrade this blade further

Rapier O' Knowledge
With your newly found "Lost Knowledge: Blade Reforgement II" (which can be found at your local nether fortress). You are now able to craft a sword that can only be forged by the most knowledgeable in the sword smithing buisness.

The Desolation
Finally, what the smithing table was originally used for.

The Hero's Blade
What a mighty blade, only the worthiest Minecraftians wield this blade.

The Dragonthorn
Who knew that the breath of a dragon could create a sword infused with the ender dragon itself?

The Sword of Minecraft
This is it, the culmination of your Minecraft journey. This blade represents the entire progression of the game. All compacted into one sword. And hey, its unbreakable!

Perfect Blades
We get it, you liked the Bumbleblade, or the Hero's Sword, or the Glaskean. Combining the Sword of Minecraft with any of the sword materials will craft a perfect version of that respective blade. Its just a cosmetic change as the blade's stats are identical to the Sword of Minecraft.
