Summary:

Introduces a new chestplate to Minecraft: The Shield Projector! When you sneak, you'll deploy an energy shield that completely protects you from single-target damage. When hit, it will give whoever hits it the Stunned status effect, which makes the target immobile. And yes, the person who deployed it can get stunned by their own shield. Shields are up for 5 seconds, then go on a 30-second cooldown. It also only provides 2 armor points when worn. However, it has unlimited uses and durability. Use its ability wisely for best results!

Important Notes:

• This mod was designed with PvP in mind, but is still usable in PvE
  • Melee attacking mobs (Such as Zombies) will still be able to attack you, but won't deal damage
  • Ranged attacking mobs (Such as Skeletons) will be blocked by the shield, but won't be affected by the Stunned effect.
  • Splash Damage mobs (Such as Creepers) will still explode, but won't deal damage (Also applies to TNT)

Before we get to the projector itself, there's two things you need to craft.

Harness:

This recipe is the same as on my other mod, Tyler's Combat Jetpacks. It's to keep the projector on you!

This is what creates the shield!
