# LessMods

LessMods adds configurable zoom and a simple carry system for Minecraft Java Edition. Carry animals, other players, and selected utility blocks such as furnaces, chests, barrels, and crafting tables.

## Features

- **Carry animals and players:** Sneak and right-click an animal or another player to pick them up. Sneak and right-click again to set them down.
- **Carry utility blocks:** Sneak and right-click a supported utility block to carry it in front of you. Ordinary blocks such as stone, sand, and snow cannot be picked up.
- **Place carried blocks:** Right-click to place a carried utility block. Carried utility blocks cannot be dropped as loose items.
- **Preserve block contents:** Supported utility blocks keep their stored contents when carried and restore them when placed. A furnace pauses while carried and resumes after it is placed.
- **Hold-to-zoom:** Hold **V** and use the mouse wheel to adjust zoom. Zoom steps become finer as you zoom in further.
- **Zoom presets:** **B** and **N** jump to the configured minimum and maximum zoom while you are zooming.
- **Configurable settings:** Press **K** or open the mod’s settings through Mod Menu to adjust carry scale, slowness, the OP slowness bypass, and numeric zoom limits.

## Requirements and compatibility

LessMods is a **Fabric** mod. Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API on the server and on each client. The server needs LessMods for carrying and slowness; clients need it for zoom, settings, and rendering.

The current build targets **Minecraft 1.21.1**. Other Minecraft versions have not been verified.
