Twitch Hunter – Challenge Mod

Goal: Defeat the Ender Dragon while special boss mobs relentlessly hunt you. Each boss persists, levels up to 40, and gets stronger over time.

Core Mechanics

Persistence & Pursuit: Bosses do not despawn and continuously track players. If they get too far away (>200 blocks), they teleport back to 150 blocks from the player.
Level System (1–40): Beating a boss of the same type increases its level (chat message). Stats and abilities scale with level.
Loot: Every boss drops 2× Enchanted Books (any type/level). There’s also a 1% chance for 5 random potions or 3 golden apples, plus 2,744 XP.
End Finale: When you enter the End fight, one of each boss additionally spawns at the center island.
World Spawns: Every 18,000–28,000 ticks (~15–23 min) one random boss spawns at least 150 blocks away around the player.
UI: Currently, special bosses like R4isaax do not use a raid bar.

Current Bosses

1) Salchichaaaaa – Ranged Suppressor

Every 10s a Blaze-shot burst (5 shots; +1 shot per 2 levels) with mild spread and double range.
Note: No rockets anymore.
Base stats: 200 HP, +20 HP/level. Uses a “skeleton-style” evasive movement.

2) Mondkind – Ghast Artillery & Fire Control

Standard Attack: Ghast fireballs (periodic single/series shots) with extended range.
At Lv 5 (adds):
- Ghast Volley: ~5s charge, then multiple ghastballs in sequence (scales with level).
- Blaze Nova: 5 radial waves × 20 fireballs (charges ~3s, periodic).
Base stats: 200 HP, +20 HP/level. Evasive movement.

3) R4isaax – Sonic-Boom Caster

Every 20s a triple sonic boom in a 45° fan, ~½ heart per beam, double range (slightly narrower radius).
At Lv 5: Multiple back-to-back salvos (more with level) plus a 360° sonic-boom burst (3 waves).
Base stats: 50 HP, +20 HP/level. Small (baby-zombie sized) and fast.

4) Lacklecker – Melee Tank

Melee with iron sword & shield.
At Lv 5: TNT rain (7s around the boss, ~4s wind-up), explosion-immune. Range +10 blocks and duration +1s per level.
Base stats: 200 HP, +20 HP/level.

Items & Blocks

Compressed Emerald

Crafted only in the Compressed Smelter: 64 × Emeralds → 1 × Compressed Emerald (not available as mob/structure loot).

Compressed Furnace & Compressed Smelter

Compressed Furnace recipe: 6× Iron Ingots, 1× Furnace, 1× Diamond, 1× Gold Ingot.
Function: The Compressed Smelter only works if you insert 64× Emeralds—the output is 1× Compressed Emerald. Requires an iron block as the “spark” and has 2× fuel efficiency vs. vanilla.
(Appearance intentionally minimal/omitted.)

Blue Golden Apple

Trade with Depro92 only (cost: 5× Compressed Emerald).
Effects like a golden apple plus Regeneration. All effects last 60s and you gain 10 golden hearts (instead of 2).

Boss Armor (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots)

Extra hearts while worn: Helmet +2, Chest +4, Leggings +3, Boots +1.
Durability: ~2× Netherite.
Trading at Depro92: Helmet 4×, Chest 7×, Legs 6×, Boots 3× Compressed Emerald.

New Trader & Structure

Depro92 (mob trader): spawns in Cherry Village; sells Boss Armor & Blue Golden Apple.
Cherry Village: Overworld structure, similar frequency to vanilla villages. Villagers spawn on Redstone blocks, Depro92 on a Lapis block.

Roadmap / Planned

Jojo (GeckoLib Boss)

Acrobatic moveset with a high jump → short hover chain and two aerial follow-ups:
- Air-Attack Thrust (forward dash with timed hit window),
- Cast (mid-air spell with projectiles).
Precise animation control via GeckoLib; no interrupting between chained phases.

Life Fruits & Armor Infusion

New plant with multiple growth stages → harvest Life Fruit.
Smithing Upgrade (planned): Combine a Life Fruit with an armor piece to infuse it:
- +2 extra hearts per infusion, up to 3× per piece (max +6 per item).
- Works only while worn, and stacks with the Boss Armor’s built-in heart bonuses.
- (Implementation via NBT/AttributeModifier; removal method TBD.)

Additional roles/abilities tuned to the level & spawn system.

Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.x (recommended: Forge 47.2.0) and GeckoLib 4.4.x.

Challenge warning: This mod is designed to keep the pressure on. Fight, loot, scale up—and face the End where all bosses spawn again as you take on the dragon. Good luck!
