Overview

Twist is a boss mod for Forge 1.20.1 that adds a humanoid hostile entity built around distortion, pressure, and abnormal visual presence. It is not meant to be a normal high-HP mob. Twist is more like an anomaly forced into the world: a special boss that disrupts combat rhythm, interferes with visual perception, and constantly creates pressure.

Twist Mechanics

Twist uses a powerful custom vitality system and ignores most direct health-editing attacks
Twist can lose at most 10 points per hit
If the Agent is active, Twist can remain rendered at the topmost visual layer of the game

After four normal attacks, the fifth attack becomes a finisher
The sixth attack becomes a special attack
After the sixth attack, the cycle returns to normal attacks
Normal attacks forcibly remove one quarter of the target's health
Finisher attacks forcibly empty the target's health
Special attacks will erase the target
Twist's attacks ignore most damage caps and invulnerability systems

Note

Twist is not intended to be treated as a normal challenge boss.
It is better used as an abnormal presence, a pressure event, or a creature built for atmosphere and presentation.
