When inside a chest or your inventory, hold Shift over any meal to highlight the exact ingredients required, making it easier to pull resources when all your items are everywhere.

Hover your crosshair over a Cooking Pot or Skillet to have a quick look of the ingredients inside and the dish currently being cooked.
