But hold on, you need a carding tool to card out the wool into string.
It only works with white wool.
First you shear some white sheep.
Then you craft a carding rod with 3 iron ingots.
You need 3 iron ingots and 6 iron nuggets to create the carding plate.
Combine the carding rod with the carding plate in a crafting table to get the carding tool.
Now use white wool + carding tool to get 2 strings.
