True Iron Chests adds a set of durable, tiered storage upgrades that expand on vanilla chest gameplay while staying simple and survival-friendly.

Main features

Tiered iron-style chests with increased storage capacity compared to vanilla.
Works alongside vanilla storage, so you can mix and match in existing worlds.
Chest Grabber tool to move chests and barrels while keeping their contents (NBT) intact:
Pick up a chest/barrel and place it back down with items preserved
Shows what it’s holding in the tooltip
Applies Slowness II while carrying
Forms double chests normally when placed next to matching chests
Limited durability/uses to keep it balanced

Designed for players who want bigger storage and safer base organization without bloating the modpack.
