Are Vanilla beaches not doing it for you? Are the long hours of mining wearing you down?
Well get ready for the Minecraft vacation of a lifetime!
Introducing...
Dating back to 2011, Tropicraft stands as one of the longest-running mods of the game, and is one of the original dimension-adding mods for Minecraft.
Inspired by a vacation to the lush tropical island of Puerto Rico, the mod's creator, Cojo, and his team, have created an idyllic, charming paradise in which to dream, explore, and let your creativity run free. With native islanders, volcanoes, and a plethora of tropical fauna and flora, the tropics contain everything necessary for an imaginative and restful escape from the doldrums of Vanilla.
Getting to the Tropics
1. Craft a beach chair (available in all 16 wool colors)
2.Craft a PiƱa Colada (All combinations of pineapples, coconuts, and chunks can create this)
3. Sip your drink in your beach chair at sunset
4. Find out what happens next for yourself!
If you wish you include Tropicraft in your modpack or on your server, by all means, feel free! All we ask is that you let us know when doing so if it is a public modpack or server so that we can spread the word and that you give us credit where it is due! Enjoy :)

1.18.2?
Heya guys, I'm currently working on a Legend of Zelda-inspired modpack full of customized mechanics, subtle worldbuilding, and many fun incentives for exploration. Unfortunately, LOZ modpacks are almost nonexsistant, especially standout ones. That's what I'm trying to change. It'll require alot of support from the community, so go give the pack a test run and tell me your criticisms, I'm open to anything!

1.18.1 please
I used to play this mod way back. It warms my heart to see it still getting updates :)
Hey is 1.18 version coming soon? Would love nothing more than to play this with my friends on my 1.18 server.
Are there plans to release a version for 1.18? I'm making a tiny pack for friends and palm trees were requested. This seems to be the right direction to go for something like that!
Using Tropicraft 9.2.0 with MC 1.16.5 and cannot get drink mixer to work. It accepts fruit but will take the empty mug in the bottom.
did not appear where the mod showcase vid said I would, also cannot find the Tropical encyclopedia anywhere, I'm using the recommended version for 1.16.5 please help if possible
Where is the config file located/what is it named? I went looking for it because I wanted to disable some overworld gen, specifically palm trees in deserts, but I can't find a config file. Git says this is a bug that was closed, but there may still be an issue as I'm using 9.2.0 but the config seems to be missing.
1.16.5 plez

The mod is updated to 1.16.5- see the latest released file. :D
1.15.2 drinking a piña colada at sunset while sitting on a chair does not take you to tropics
hey i've noticed that tropicraft is quite heavy mod, even increasing ram to stupidly high amounts like 16 gb is not enough, basicly all mobs keep on lagging, it's like playing on a server with high ping but it happens in single player, any idea what could be causing it?
In reply to Nakkitsunami:
Hey man, there are multiple things you ma be doing wrong, if not you may want to upgrade your processor
1. Make sure you aren't using more than 15 mods
2. Make sure you have properly allocated RAM to your minecraft client,
to do so go to Installations > whatever version you are playing > click the three dots > edit > more options > Change the beggining JVM Argument "Xmx2G" to a higher number, the G stands for gigabytes of ram
Xmx3G is 3 gigabytes, Xmx6G is 6 gigabytes, and so forth
hope this helps
In reply to good_twitch_:
Also I noticed minecraft typically does nothing even with higher amounts of RAM, because of the low amount of processes it runs it doesn't need as much temporary storage
What?
In reply to kaisd008:
You need pineapple chunks not a full pineapple
Can you please seperate the mod and the library into 2 downloadable mods instead of 1 zip file so they can be used on Aternos servers?
Hello, I've included this mod into my latest showcase video! I hope you enjoy it:
