TRMT Reimagined 0.9.217 - Minecraft 1.16.5, Forge
The first release of this edition. Needs Forge 36.2.34 or newer and Cloth Config for the settings screen. Install on the server and on every client.
Everything the 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 editions do, this one does, by the same numbers and reading the same settings file. Where the game itself took away what a behaviour was built on, the manual says so rather than leaving you to find out.
Worn ground is drawn under Rubidium. This is the fix most worth having if you run it. The ghost block learned which square it was drawing through one door only, and Rubidium meshes chunks itself without ever opening that door, so every worn square drew nothing at all. Because the ghost replaces the ground in your client's copy of the world rather than covering it, nothing is not a missing path: it is a rectangular pit with the sky visible through one edge. It now answers Forge's own per-block model-data hook, which Rubidium does ask for, and no renderer can make a hole again - told nothing, it draws the plain block. Found by driving the game with Rubidium and Oculus installed, which no development run has.
Three settings show their names. showErosion, overlayDistanceChunks and perSurfaceTextures
carry human names, the translations shipped with the jar, and the settings screen never looked them
up: they read "Show erosion" where the other two editions read "Show worn paths".
A log line can no longer grow without limit. Three messages handed a whole collection to the log, which on a large pack is a string long enough to exhaust the heap building it. This edition died that way at startup. They now print a sample and say how many it stood for.
