TRMT: Reimagined (The Roads More Travelled)

Ground wears into paths where you actually walk and grows back when you stop. Nothing is ever written into the world. Built for packs with hundreds of mods, where every block wears in its own colors. The Roads More Travelled: Reimagined.

TRMT Reimagined 0.9.217 - Minecraft 1.12.2, Forge

Needs MixinBooter, Forge 14.23.5.2847 or newer. Install on the server and on every client.

Worn stairs and slabs. A ghost standing in for a stair is now drawn and collided with as the boxes that stair is made of rather than as a flat height, so a path worn across one keeps its tread instead of turning into a step you cannot read. The shape is worked out per position and used by the model and the collision alike, so what you see and what you walk on are the same answer. Slabs, quarters and eighths get the same treatment.

A covered block's render pass is respected. Worn ice is drawn translucent, worn stone is not, and a worn square is drawn in the pass the block it stands in for belongs to.

Side rules match the reference edition. A flank carries its own material rather than earth by decree, and only a square still wearing as grass takes the biome tint on its fringe.

A log line can no longer grow without limit. Three messages handed a whole collection to the log, which on a large pack is a string long enough to exhaust the heap building it. They now print a sample and say how many it stood for.
