TranslateCraft
Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 26.1.2 • Fabric • Forge • NeoForge • Client-only
Overview
A lot of mods still ship English-only names, tooltips, menus, quests, and guide books. TranslateCraft runs on your client, reads that text, and translates it into the language you selected in Minecraft. Finished lines are saved to disk, so the next launch does not translate the same strings again.
Official translations that a mod already provides are left alone. Vanilla Minecraft is not translated unless you turn that on in the config.
Features
- Follows the language in Minecraft settings
- Covers item names, tooltips, GUIs, quests, and in-game guides
- Extra support for Patchouli, GuideME, FTB Quests, EMI, and FancyMenu
- Keeps color codes, placeholders, item icons, and mod names intact
- Local cache at
config/translatecraft/cache_<language>.json - No server install required
An internet connection is needed the first time a new string is translated. Later sessions can run from the cache.
Config
