Tramante: Backpacks & Quivers
Tramante: Backpacks & Quivers adds backpacks, quivers, and a new crafting material while staying as close as possible to Minecraft's vanilla design philosophy.
The goal is simple: expand portable storage and ammunition management without turning the game into an oversized inventory system or adding unnecessary upgrade trees and menus.
Backpacks
Backpacks provide compact general-purpose storage inspired by Minecraft's Bundle.
- Store multiple types of items in a portable container.
- Browse contents directly from your inventory.
- Scroll through stored stacks and choose exactly what you want to retrieve.
- Visual item previews show what you are currently inspecting.
- Available in all 16 dye colors.
- Contents are preserved when dyeing a Backpack.
- Designed to integrate naturally with Minecraft's inventory and tooltip systems.
Quivers
Quivers provide dedicated storage for arrows and crossbow ammunition.
- Carry up to 4 stacks of ammunition in a single item.
- Select ammunition using C + Mouse Wheel.
- The currently selected projectile is visibly displayed inside the Quiver.
- Supports regular, spectral, and tipped arrows.
- Supports compatible modded arrow items.
- Crossbows can also use Firework Rockets stored inside the Quiver.
- Bows prioritize the selected compatible arrow from the Quiver.
- The selected ammunition remains attached to the Quiver itself, even when dropped and picked up again.
- Available in all 16 dye colors.
- Contents are preserved when dyeing a Quiver.
Tramante
At the center of the mod is Tramante, an uncommon material used to craft both Backpacks and Quivers.
Tramante can only be obtained from the Wandering Trader.
- 85% chance for a Wandering Trader to offer Tramante.
- Costs 9 Emeralds.
- Each trader sells only 1 Tramante.
- Tramante cannot be crafted through other means.
This makes every piece of Tramante a small choice: use it to craft a Backpack, or save it for a Quiver.
Designed to feel like Minecraft
Tramante: Backpacks & Quivers intentionally avoids large upgrade systems, excessive menus, and overpowered storage.
Backpacks take inspiration from Bundles, Quivers integrate directly with Minecraft's existing bows and crossbows, and every visual and gameplay element is designed to feel natural alongside vanilla content.
The idea behind the mod is simple:
If Minecraft had Backpacks and Quivers, this is how I imagined they could feel.
