TrailWright 1.3.0 (1.20-1.20.1)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Native on Fabric and Forge
- One jar for Fabric and Forge, Minecraft 1.20 and 1.20.1. On Forge it runs natively: Sinytra Connector and Forgified Fabric API are no longer needed.
- On Forge, the settings screen opens from the Mods screen (TrailWright → Config). On Fabric it stays in Mod Menu.
Requires Stope 2.0.1
- TrailWright now requires Stope 2.0.1 or newer (below 3.0.0): install Stope's file for your loader. On Forge, Minecraft 1.20 runs on Forge 46.0.14 and 1.20.1 on Forge 47.
- Stope provides the hooks TrailWright used to add itself (block changes, brushing, and the F3 line), so TrailWright no longer changes any game code of its own.
- The F3 wear readout uses a new network channel: a TrailWright 1.2.0 client on a 1.3.0 server, or the reverse, shows no F3 wear line. Players without TrailWright still join.
Settings file
- Your
config/trailwright/trailwright.jsonkeeps working: same settings, same names, defaults, and allowed values. - A malformed settings file (a stray brace, a trailing comma, a comment,
NaN) now falls back to the defaults for every setting with a warning in the log, and the file is left for you to fix. Before, some of these mistakes were read anyway. - A setting with the wrong kind of value (text where a number belongs, a fraction for
pruneIntervalTicks) or out of range goes back to its default with a warning naming it; the other settings keep their values. - A setting the file does not know is named in the log and ignored. When settings are only missing, they are added to the file with their defaults.
Links
- The mod's links point to its CurseForge page and, for bug reports, to the KillenCraft Discord. The source repository link is gone.
Unchanged
- Wear, wear resets (changing a block, new growth on top, brushing), the F3 wear line, and the settings screen work as before. Worlds keep their trail wear.
