Trailcrumbs

Trailcrumbs helps you find your way home while exploring caves.

Craft a Bag of Crumbs, turn it on, and leave a persistent trail of light-brown breadcrumb blocks behind you. Follow the trail back whenever you are ready to return.

Features

• Persistent breadcrumb markers that remain in the world and can be seen by other players.
• Redstone-style connections between adjacent breadcrumbs.
• Normal exploration trail: one marker about every 2 seconds.
• Sneaking trail: one marker about every 0.5 seconds for difficult passages.
• Punch individual breadcrumbs to remove them, just like redstone dust.
• Each bag holds 100 crumbs and stays in your inventory when empty.
• Refill a used bag completely by combining it with one bread in the crafting grid.
• Optional compatibility with bundle-providing mods such as Vanilla Backport.

How to use

1. Craft a Pouch with three leather and one string.
   
2. Combine the Pouch with bread to craft a Bag of Crumbs.
   
3. Right-click with the bag in your main hand to enable or disable trail mode.
4. Keep the active bag anywhere in your inventory or offhand while exploring.
5. Sneak when you want a denser trail through a difficult passage.
6. Punch breadcrumbs to remove them when you no longer need them.
