TradeShuffler ๐
TradeShuffler improves villager trading.
What TradeShuffler provides โจ
- Shuffle trades: A new button next to the villager trading window re-rolls the trades of a novice villager you have never traded with.
- Trade preview: The trading window also lists the trades a villager unlocks at its future levels, darkened, with a colored level stripe and an "unlocks at" tooltip; after shuffling it appears once you pause for two seconds.
- Binding preview: When the villager levels up, it unlocks exactly the trades the preview showed, also after saving and reloading, and after a zombie infection and cure.
- Clear reasons: When shuffling is not possible, the button is greyed out and its tooltip says why, e.g. already traded or no job site.
- Key binding: An optional, unbound key in its own "TradeShuffler" section shuffles while the trading window is open.
- Settings screen: All client settings (button position, preview darkening, level stripe, update check) can be changed in game via Mod Menu (Fabric) or the mod list (NeoForge).
- Update check: Reports new versions for your loader and Minecraft version from Modrinth and CurseForge; the README lists which services are asked.
- Server control: Server admins can turn shuffling off, require a job site and set a cooldown in
config/tradeshuffler-server.json.
