No external services, no accounts — the letter is stored safely inside the world save until they return.

Next login, the recipient is notified: "You have 1 letter(s). Use /mail read to open them."

/mail read delivers everything: letters in chat with date and sender, attachments straight to your inventory — overflow drops at your feet, nothing is ever lost. Reading is deliberate: mail never lands while you're not looking.
