Adds a Mining work mode to Touhou Little Maid: she follows you and mines exposed ores in range, with Ore Roster filtering and owner-protect combat interrupt.
A Touhou Little Maid addon that adds a Mining work mode. The maid follows her owner and mines exposed ores within the vanilla work range—no tunnel digging through stone. Drop priority, Fortune/Silk Touch, and an Ore Roster bauble for whitelist/blacklist filtering are included. If the owner is attacked nearby, she can suspend mining, swap to a sword, and help fight.
Features
Mining work mode
- Appears in the maid GUI task list as Mining. She stays near the owner and searches for ores in the work range.
- Only mines ores that have at least one face exposed to air and are within reach (including overhead / ceiling). She will not carve stone tunnels to reach buried ore.
- Base pool is the
forge:oresblock tag, so modded ores that use the tag are supported. Tools & drops - Needs a pickaxe in her inventory that can harvest the target and still has durability. Among valid picks, enchant priority is Fortune > Silk Touch > Efficiency; ties break by lower level then lower slot. A pick with 1 durability left is retired for the next one.
- Mining speed follows vanilla player rules (hardness, tool material, Efficiency, Haste / Mining Fatigue).
- The held pickaxe is passed into loot logic so Fortune and Silk Touch work; experience orbs drop normally.
- Loot goes to the maid’s inventory first, then the owner if full; if both are full she pauses and shows a chat bubble.
- After finishing one connected vein of the same ore, she rescans. Combat while mining
- Mining mode does not seek targets on its own. When a nearby owner is hit or lands a hit, she suspends mining, prefers a sword from her inventory, helps melee the owner’s foe, then swaps the pickaxe back and resumes. Ore Roster
- Bauble: right-click opens a binder UI listing all
forge:oresby icon; search and set whitelist or blacklist (stored on the item NBT). Equipped on a maid to filter targets; without it she mines all ores in the pool. - Craft: book + glowstone + iron nugget.
Limits
- She will not travel to caves alone—you must lead. No bridging, filling, or path-carving; ores only reachable by digging stone are skipped. No ore priority ranking beyond nearest + vein continuation. No auto-deposit into chests (maid backpack and owner inventory only).
