Torch Guard is a lightweight client-side utility mod for Minecraft Forge and Fabric 1.20.1 designed to prevent accidental block placement when holding light sources in your offhand.
If you frequently hold torches or lanterns in your offhand while mining or exploring, you may often place them down by mistake when interacting with blocks. Torch Guard fixes this problem directly at the input level without interfering with your main hand actions.
### Features
* Offhand Protection Only: Blocks placement actions specifically for items held in your offhand. Holding torches or blocks in your main hand continues to work normally.
* Keybind Toggle: Easily enable or disable the protection on the fly using a customizable keybind (Default: K).
* Action Bar Notifications: Displays a subtle status message (Enabled / Disabled) directly above your hotbar when toggled.
* Control-Scheme Independent: Cancels the underlying action regardless of whether your keybinds are mapped to right-click, left-click, or a keyboard key.
