Minecraft 26.1.2 Port

ToolSense is now available for Minecraft 26.1.2 with NeoForge 26.1.2.109 and Java 25.

Changes

• Ported ToolSense to Minecraft 26.1.2.

• Updated ToolSense for Minecraft and NeoForge's new mining, inventory, equipment, attribute, loot, and networking systems.

• Preserved invisible automatic tool selection — the correct tool is used without changing your selected hotbar slot or moving tools in your inventory.

• Preserved Full Inventory and Hotbar Only search modes.

• Preserved Auto, Fortune, and Silk Touch tool preferences.

• Preserved the configurable preference keybind, default V.

• Preserved optional durability protection and the default 5% protection threshold.

• Preserved held-tool priority so deliberate tool choices remain respected.

• Updated pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, shears, and sword-related mining behavior for Minecraft 26.1.2's current tool systems.

• Updated client/server mining prediction and synchronization for the new version.

• Updated custom modded-tool safety handling for the Minecraft 26.1.2/NeoForge APIs.

• Preserved conservative compatibility behavior for custom tools whose mining or durability logic requires them to be physically equipped.

• Preserved server-authoritative mining, drops, enchantments, durability, and tool breakage.

• Preserved right-click isolation — ToolSense still affects block breaking only and does not automatically perform stripping, tilling, path creation, animal shearing, or other right-click tool actions.

• Updated configuration, networking, persistence, and key controls for the 26.1.2 platform.

• Install ToolSense on both client and server for multiplayer.

Compatibility

ToolSense 1.1.0 is a separate Minecraft 26.1.2 build and is not compatible with Minecraft 1.21.1.

The Minecraft 1.21.1 release remains available separately as ToolSense 1.0.0.

ToolSense works automatically with standard Minecraft/NeoForge tool behavior. Some heavily customized modded tools that require being physically equipped may be conservatively ignored for automatic selection to preserve correct durability and drops.
