This mod replaces the pre-baked rendering method for tools/tool parts in Tinker's Construct (TiC3) with a realtime GPU grayscale mapping. When you loaded tools and material from different mods, you will not have to generate textures for every toolpart-material combination to achieve a complete appearance.
This mod currently supports only tool and tool component items, with support for texture materials and dynamic materials. However, some distortion occurs with 32x texture materials (such as the Queen Slime). (Fixed in 0.3)
For those creators of large-scale Tinker's Construct mod packs that loads a large number of tools and materials, this mod can be integrated into your pack. Remove unnecessary generated textures from your resource pack, retaining only those requiring special adaptation and add these to this mod's exclusion list. In this way, you can simultaneously achieve both game performance and tool appearance.
