The forest, but enormous.
Titanwood turns Minecraft's trees into landscapes. Oaks that scrape the clouds, redwoods with a canopy the size of a village, fruit trees whose fruit hangs within reach - and a few things that are not trees at all: giant mushrooms, bamboo taller than a house, a cactus built like a tower.
Everything is a normal block. The trees grow from saplings, in any world, next to any other mod.
What you get
- 22 species, from a 20-block tree to a 275-block redwood
- Four new wood types: redwood, palm, giant oak, white oak
- Trees taller than 250 blocks - the world tree reaches past the clouds
- Five giant mushrooms that only grow in dark forests
- Giant bamboo, giant cactus and two palm species
- Floating islands on stone stems, small sand islands in deep oceans
- Fallen giants, and giant stumps with growth rings
- 157 blocks in total, all craftable or harvestable
The giants
Six of them, drawn at the same scale - that is how far apart they really are.

Every tree has its own shape: the white oak is a wide dome, the jungle tree spreads into a flat umbrella, the frost tree is a needle column, the mangrove stands on stilts above its own roots.

How you grow them

- The giant redwood is the only tree that needs a 7x7 field of the same sapling.
- Everything else grows from a single sapling. Bone meal speeds it up.
- Saplings also drop from leaves - exploring a Titanwood forest gives you the next one.
The mushrooms

Five species, five cap shapes. They spawn rarely in dark forests and never in bright biomes - but once you find a clearing full of them, you will remember it.
Made to be installed next to other mods
- Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge
- No mixins, no new biomes, no new dimensions
- Works in modded biomes: Titanwood reads the biome tags
- +2.3 ms per chunk (about 12 %)
- Runs on dedicated servers; all generation is server side
- MIT license
Tips
- Bring a stack of dirt if you want to climb a redwood. The view is worth it.
- /titanwood find redwood 2000 points you to the next giant redwood.
- /titanwood islands finds the next floating island.

Updates
Titanwood is still growing. Every release lands in the Files tab with a changelog that says what changed and why - no silent edits.
- Follow this project (button at the top) to get a notification when a new version is out.
- Versions follow the pattern 1.21.x: the first two numbers track Minecraft and the loader, the last one is my own. A jump like 1.21 to 1.22 means new content; 1.21.x means fixes.
- Old versions stay online. If you are stuck on a modpack that uses an older build, you can always download it.
- Found a bug? Post it in the comments with the version number and, if possible, the crash report. I read every comment and answer as soon as I can.
Planned next: better performance in huge modpacks, more biome coverage, and a gallery with screenshots from players - send yours.
