Description
Titanium Boots — Fallbreaker
Tired of losing hard-earned gear — or your life — to a single bad step off a cliff? Titanium Boots turn every fall into a non-event. Whether you're base-jumping off a mountain, sprinting through a ravine, or just misjudging a ledge in the Nether, you'll walk away with exactly 1 heart of damage — never more, no matter the height.
How it works
Unlike vanilla fall damage, which scales brutally with distance, Titanium Boots cap the damage at a flat rate. Fall 3 blocks or fall 300 — the outcome is identical. Short jumps and normal movement remain completely safe, so you won't take damage from everyday parkour or building.
This isn't a small buff. It effectively removes fall damage as a threat entirely, so the crafting cost reflects that.
Crafting
Titanium Boots are forged, not upgraded — there's no starter tier to work up through. You'll need:
- 4x Netherite Ingot
- 1x Totem of Undying

That means you're looking at a serious investment: Netherite Scrap farming in the Nether, gold for smelting, and a won raid against a Woodland Mansion (or similar) to obtain the Totem. This is a late-game reward, not something you'll have on day one.
Stats
Built on Netherite-tier armor values — full durability, protection, toughness, and knockback resistance on par with vanilla Netherite boots. The only difference is what happens when you hit the ground.
Why it's balanced this way
Total fall-damage immunity is powerful enough to change how players approach exploration, PvP escapes, and vertical builds. Rather than gate it behind grinding, the recipe gates it behind genuine end-game commitment — you'll have earned it by the time you can craft it.
