This is a general-purpose addon mod for various popular Minecraft 1.7.10 mods, including Tinkers' Construct and Galacticraft.

NOTE: This mod requires UniMixins to be installed! It will crash spectacularly if it is missing!

The goal of this mod is to address miscellaneous balance concerns and bugs in popular mods used in competitive war modpacks that negatively affect competitive play. The mod is very configurable and allows server owners and modpack creators to choose which tweaks to apply. The config can be hot-reloaded at any time by running "/competitivetweaks reload" in-game.

In addition to configurable tweaks, I may implement some bug fixes where feasible. However, for those looking for a more comprehensive solution, I highly recommend GTNH Fork of Tinkers' Construct, which is a far larger community effort focused on bug fixes and stability. My understanding is that they plan to release it directly onto CurseForge/Modrinth at some point to increase accessibility.

Currently Implemented Patches (Individually toggleable in the config file):

Nerf Tinkers' Construct rapiers to no longer pierce armor, and adds a warning to the tooltip of rapiers so that players aren't confused.
Limit the spawn of Galacticraft Falling Meteors to a configurable (default 1000 blocks) square radius around (0, 0) to prevent accumulating meteors from giving away the location of hidden underground bases.
